Exam FAM is offered three times a year, in a testing window of seven days. Registration for the 2027 sittings opens the week of November 30, 2026.

How to choose a sitting

Count back from the window, and leave the last weeks for full practice exams.
Register early in the registration period to get the test center and day you want.
With three sittings a year, missing one means a wait of three to five months for the next.

After the exam

You get an unofficial pass or fail by email within an hour. SOA publishes the official results, with the pass mark and pass rate, several weeks later: the July 2026 results were published on September 11, 2026.
