Free AP Environmental Science practice test

15 questions across all nine units, weighted like the exam, in 17 minutes. Then your score by unit and by science practice, a short lesson on the unit to fix first and a plan to May.

  • Four-option multiple choice, at the exam's pace of one minute a question.
  • About a third of the questions use a graph, table, food web or model, as on the exam, and some need a calculation: a calculator is allowed. No account.
  • Move back and forth and flag questions.

Section II: 3 free-response questions in 70 minutes (40%): design an investigation, analyze and interpret quantitative data, and an environmental problem with calculations, 10 points each. A four-function or scientific calculator is allowed on both sections (graphing calculators are not allowed in 2027). The whole exam is taken in the Bluebook app on Thursday, May 13, 2027.

What your result means

You get questions right in each unit and in each science practice, so you can see where to start. AP scores from 1 to 5 come from College Board's own conversion of both sections.
