Do I need a science degree?
Not for every route. Check your chosen university and applicant category. ACER assumes first-year university biology and chemistry and school-level physics for Section 3. ACER GAMSAT information
Are these official ACER questions?
No. Every question and writing task here is original practice written for this site. Use ACER's own practice materials alongside it. Official preparation
Can I turn my practice percentage into a GAMSAT score?
No. ACER reports scaled scores, not percentages, and no reliable conversion exists. We show what you got right, your pace and what to try next. How ACER reports results
How is the overall score worked out?
ACER's published formula is (Section 1 + Section 2 + 2 × Section 3) ÷ 4, so Section 3 counts twice. Universities may use the scores in their own way.
When is the GAMSAT in 2027?
ACER had not published 2027 sitting dates when we last checked, on 24 September 2026. Check the registration page before you plan. GAMSAT registration
