When is the LNAT deadline for 2027 entry?

It depends on the university. Oxford and Cambridge: sit by 15 October 2026, except Oxford's Foundation Year in Law (13 January 2027) and Cambridge's January round for mature applicants. UCL, King's and LSE: sit by 31 December 2026. Bristol and Durham: book before and sit by 13 January 2027. Most other LNAT universities: book before 20 January and sit by 25 January 2027. Your deadline is the earliest date across your shortlist.

Can I take the LNAT after I submit my UCAS application?

Yes. The LNAT Consortium says you can take the test before or after you send your UCAS application, as long as you sit by each university's LNAT deadline. For Oxford and Cambridge that is 15 October 2026, the same day as the UCAS deadline.

What is the LNAT deadline for Oxford's Foundation Year in Law?

Sit the LNAT by 13 January 2027. The LNAT is required for the Oxford Foundation Year in Law from 2027 entry.

Is there a late LNAT deadline for international applicants?

The LNAT Consortium lists late applications, which usually apply to international applicants only: book by 25 July 2027 and sit by 31 July 2027, with a UCAS application between 16 January and 30 June 2027. Universities may not accept results taken that late, so check with each one first.
