What are LNAT evidence questions?
Margin uses “evidence questions” as a practice label for matching a claim to what an argumentative passage supports. It is not an official LNAT question category.
The current test-format page describes Section A as multiple-choice questions based on argumentative passages. Margin uses the label only to teach one passage-reading skill.

Locate the relevant sentence, then compare its subject, scope and certainty with each choice. Reject any choice that adds a cause, opinion or time period.
The official preparation guide asks whether statements are fully quantified by their evidence. In this exercise, “caused” goes beyond “recorded”.
LNAT preparation guideDoes a mention in the passage prove a choice?
No. A passage can mention a topic without supporting the relationship claimed in an answer. Check exactly what the question asks and what the text establishes.
The official hints say the solution is in the passage and warn against reading anything in or out. Eliminate choices that need missing evidence.
