What LNAT score does Oxford require?
Oxford's current undergraduate Law material does not publish a 2027 minimum or cutoff. Its 2025–26 report records an average MCT score of 30.48 among offer recipients for Course 1 Law and Course 2 Law with Law Studies in Europe. That cohort average is not a target or guarantee, and the report does not cover Foundation Year applicants.
Who needs the LNAT for Oxford Law?
Oxford says all applicants for any of its undergraduate law degrees must sit the LNAT. The current FAQ applies this to UK, EU and overseas applicants.
Margin is independent LNAT practice. It cannot predict Oxford's admissions decision.
Does Oxford use the LNAT essay?
Yes. Oxford says its tutors see and mark the essay. Its 2025–26 report says both the multiple-choice and essay scores formed part of that cycle's initial shortlisting rank; this is not a fixed 2027 formula.
When are Oxford's 2027 LNAT deadlines?
Standard Oxford applicants must register and book by 15 September 2026, then sit the LNAT and submit UCAS by 15 October. The official LNAT page lists 13 January 2027 separately for Oxford's Foundation Year in Law.
Cambridge Law works to the same 15 October date and publishes no cutoff.
