How you get a slot
Log in to your LNAT account and book from the menu at the top left. LNAT tells candidates not to contact a centre to arrange an appointment.
Testing for 2027 entry runs from 1 September 2026, and Oxford and Cambridge want you sat by 15 October. Watching your universities' deadlines is your job, not LNAT's. Its own advice is to move early: the earlier you book, the more chance you have of getting an appointment on the day of your choice.
Access arrangements come first Extended time, or arrangements for mobility, hearing or vision, means you register online but do not book online. Apply through exam access requirements and wait for approval first.
What is in the room
A numbered desk, a computer running only the LNAT programme, and a portable whiteboard with a pen. The whiteboard is the only thing to write on. Bags, books, papers, pens, drinks and sweets go in lockers beside the seating area.
Some centres deliver most exams in English and have US keyboards, not the local layout. LNAT tells candidates outside the UK to contact the centre and check.
If no centre is reachable
Some countries have none, and LNAT does not expect that to change this cycle. Confirm with the LNAT Administrator, then apply for exemption to each LNAT university you chose, a separate application each: every one decides for itself.
A whiteboard and 135 minutes
Nothing else goes in there with you. No notes, and no second sitting this cycle. 10 of the 83 questions on the practice page are free. Founder access is £25 for the other 73, each with the passage sentence your answer turned on.

- Yes, you choose it when you book, and the fee follows the centre's location rather than yours. LNAT publishes £75 at UK and EU centres and £120 outside the EU, under a heading still carrying an older cycle label. Check the amount Pearson VUE shows before you pay.
