What is in this roadmap?

Priority: Baseline Paper 1: Applications of Mathematical Knowledge, Paper 2: Mathematical Reasoning

A timed baseline shows which topics need attention before you use the available study weeks.

  • Start with one baseline across Paper 1: Applications of Mathematical Knowledge, Paper 2: Mathematical Reasoning. Keep the module clocks separate.
  • Record each miss by module and topic, then name the step that failed.
  • Use Learn for MM1 Algebra and functions and MM1.3 Quadratic functions in Paper 1: Applications of Mathematical Knowledge, then take a short Practice set on the same topics.
  • Return to the misses after a break and check whether the route changed.

Priority: Mixed Practice led by Paper 1: Applications of Mathematical Knowledge

Mixed work checks whether the fix holds across topics and modules.

  • Alternate Paper 1: Applications of Mathematical Knowledge and Paper 2: Mathematical Reasoning in Practice. Keep the focus on MM1 Algebra and functions and MM1.3 Quadratic functions and MM1 Algebra and functions and MM7 Integration.
  • Use Learn only for the topic that failed in the preceding set.
  • Complete one timed set for each of Paper 1: Applications of Mathematical Knowledge and Paper 2: Mathematical Reasoning.
  • Review the reason for every wrong option before starting the next set.

Arrive ready, keep work light

Priority: Accuracy, sleep and a clean first pass

Near the sitting, briefly practise methods you have checked.

  • Finish the last full timed mock by 9 Oct 2026.
  • From 11 Oct 2026, add no new topics. Use only your error log and familiar Practice sets.
  • The day before, do one short warm-up and stop before quality drops.
  • Check the sitting details you booked and protect sleep as part of the plan.
