Who can sit it
- School students
- Only in your final year of school or later: Year 12 in Australia, Year 13 in New Zealand.
- Once a year
- One sitting per cycle. Sitting twice, or sitting both UCAT ANZ and UCAT UK in the same year, is treated as misconduct, and results may be cancelled.
- Not eligible
- Anyone working for or with a financial interest in a UCAT coaching business.

Questions people ask
When is the UCAT ANZ 2027?
The Consortium has not published the 2027 dates yet. The 2026 cycle opened bookings in early March, closed them in mid-May and tested through July into early August.
How much is the UCAT ANZ?
A$335 in Australia or New Zealand and A$405 elsewhere, charged in Australian dollars. Pearson is a US merchant, so your bank may add an international transaction fee.
Who can get the concession fee?
Candidates named on a current Australian Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, testing in Australia. It must be applied for before booking: the 2026 deadline was 11 May.
Can I sit the UCAT ANZ outside Australia and New Zealand?
Yes. It is delivered in Pearson test centres worldwide, for A$405.
When do I get my result?
Pearson emails you within 24 hours to say your score report is ready. The Consortium sends results to its universities in early September.
