2028 entry: Casper replaces the UCAT ANZ

Applying for 2028 entry or later? Auckland no longer uses the UCAT ANZ. You sit Casper in the year you apply, and the final ranking is the multiple mini interview 50% (with a minimum) and Casper 50%. The UCAT rules on this page are for 2027 entry.

Final ranking, first year: GPA in four courses (BIOSCI 107, CHEM 110, MEDSCI 142, POPLHLTH 111) 60%, UCAT ANZ final score 15%, multiple mini interview 25%.
Final ranking, graduate: Cumulative GPA 60%, UCAT ANZ final score 15%, multiple mini interview 25%.
Without the UCAT: International graduate applicants do not sit the UCAT ANZ.
Which year's test: UCAT ANZ 2026 for 2027 entry. A result cannot be carried over to a later year.

Auckland does not publish a UCAT ANZ cut-off that we found. As a guide, the 2026 median total was 1,950 and the top 10% scored 2,340 or more.

Can I use last year's UCAT ANZ result?

No. A UCAT ANZ result counts only for entry the following year: UCAT ANZ 2026 for 2027 entry.
