The current UCAT format gives Quantitative Reasoning 36 questions and 26 minutes. That is the useful planning number before you start a timed set.
Plan for roughly 43 seconds each.
This is an average, not a rule for every item. The arithmetic is 26 × 60 ÷ 36 = 43.3 seconds per question. Spend longer where the numbers need it; recover the time on questions you can solve quickly.
