Passing score
600 on a 250 to 750 scale
How scoring works
Raw scores are converted to a scaled score from 250 to 750.
600 or higher is a pass.
A pass report shows only that you passed, with no number.
A fail report shows your numeric score and the syllabus areas where you need to improve.
If you do not pass
You can retake a part 30 days after your most recent attempt.
The handbook allows at most eight attempts at each part.
All three parts must be passed within three years of acceptance into the program.
What 600 means for your preparation
The scaled score is not a percentage, and no percentage of questions right is published as the pass line. The practical aim is to be comfortably strong in every section, because a weak section costs marks that the others must make up.
