Things students are often told, checked against what the test owners publish.
- Out of dateYou need to practise Abstract Reasoning for the UCAT.Abstract Reasoning was withdrawn from the UCAT in 2025. The test now has three scored sections and Situational Judgement.
- FalseTo compare an old UCAT total out of 3600 with the new 2700 scale, multiply by 3/4.A section was removed, not rescaled. By UCAT's own deciles, 2800 out of 3600 matches about 2120 out of 2700, not 2100.
