LNAT registration 2026: dates, fees, how to book

Registration for September 2027 entry opened on 1 August 2026. Book early: LNAT warns late registration can leave no local appointment.

It names UK city-centre test centres. Create a Pearson VUE account, then try free LNAT practice or create an account to save progress.

When does LNAT registration open?

Registration opens on 1 August 2026, with testing from 1 September. Cambridge law applicants applying in 2026 must take the LNAT, register by 15 September and sit by 15 October. Other universities set later deadlines, so confirm yours before choosing an appointment.

LNAT’s fee line carries an older cycle label, so those amounts are what it currently publishes, not confirmed 2026–27 prices. Check what Pearson VUE shows before you pay. · Fees

How do you register and book the LNAT?

Set up a Pearson VUE LNAT account, then sign in and choose a test centre, date and time. You can register before receiving your UCAS number and add it later. The test must be paid for in advance, and earlier booking gives you more appointment choice.

Do you need access arrangements?

If you need extra time or another examination adjustment, register online, but do not book online. Submit the access-requirements form with evidence and wait for approval before arranging an appointment. The evidence and lead times are on the extra-time guide.

Can you get an LNAT bursary?

Eligible candidates must apply for an LNAT bursary before booking, and the fee is waived rather than reduced. LNAT says processing takes up to ten days from receipt of your form. Check eligibility and evidence first, then wait for the e-voucher before you choose an appointment.

The fee is paid in advance, and you sit the LNAT once in this cycle. The 42 Section A questions are the same whatever date you pick. 10 of the 83 questions on the practice page are free. Founder access is £25 for the other 73, each with the passage sentence your answer turned on.
