What does the percentage mean?
It tells you how many of the 42 questions you got right in that practice set. It does not convert to a university offer chance, percentile or grade. Compare like-for-like timed sets and inspect the reasoning behind each error.
Nothing is deducted for a wrong answer, so a guess can only beat a blank. Your official score comes months later, in February or August.
A percentage says how many you lost, not which. Two of the reading skills the official guide names are not about the argument’s structure: whether a writer is approving or mocking, and whether a sentence records something or judges it.
