Working through a question
Cover the options and answer the question yourself first, then find your answer among them.
For a calculation, write the equation and the mole ratio before you reach for numbers; wrong options are often the result of one common slip, such as leaving a volume in cm³.
Rule out options you know are wrong, and check the unit each option is in: mol, mol l⁻¹, g or kJ.
Practising Section 1
The practice here has original multiple-choice questions for every section, worked or timed, and two timed Section 1 practice papers of 20 questions in 30 minutes, marked by section with every answer explained.
