Who you are buying from

UniGenius is operated by Lightcube. These terms apply with our general Terms; where they differ for partner codes, these terms apply.

What a code is

Each code opens one UniGenius course for one student for 12 months from the day they use it. A code can be used once, by one student, within 12 months of your order.

You may give codes to your own students, free or as part of what you charge them. You may not sell codes on a marketplace or publish them openly. A code a student has used cannot be moved to someone else.

Paying

You pay the price shown, by card, once. Prices include VAT. Stripe sends a paid invoice to the email you give. There are no quotes, custom terms or bank transfers.

The 30-day refund

For 30 days after you pay, you can refund the codes on an order that no student has used yet, from your dashboard, for any reason. We refund what you paid less the codes your students have used, priced at the pack those codes fit (6 used codes are priced as in a pack of 5). Refunded codes stop working. Codes already used are not refundable, except where the law says otherwise.

Your dashboard link

Your dashboard opens from a private link we email to you. Anyone with the link can see your codes and your students' progress, so share it only with colleagues who should.

Student accounts and data

Each student signs up with their own account and agrees to our Terms and Privacy policy. Your dashboard shows the name each student gives, their email and their work on the course their code opened. We use this only to run their course and your dashboard. Students keep their accounts and their work when access ends.

When access ends

A student's access ends 12 months after they used their code. If your payment is refunded in full or disputed, every code on that order stops working and its students lose the course.
