When do A-level exams start in 2027?
For these subjects the first papers are Further Maths core papers from 12 May (Edexcel), Physics paper 1 on Friday 21 May and Maths paper 1 on Wednesday 26 May 2027.
When is the last A-level exam in 2027?
For these subjects, Monday 21 June 2027 (Edexcel Further Maths paper 4). Without Further Maths, the last is Biology paper 3 on Friday 18 June. The boards keep Wednesday 23 June 2027 as a contingency day.
When is A-level results day 2027?
Thursday 12 August 2027.

How we work this out
What it does
Choose your boards, hours a week and weakest subjects: get a week-by-week plan to your last June 2027 paper.
A-level Maths, Further Maths (core and your two option papers), Biology, Chemistry and Physics on AQA, Pearson Edexcel and OCR, planned from your start date to your last paper in June 2027.
Method
- Exam dates come from the boards' final June 2027 timetables for the specification you choose.
- Your weekly hours become one-hour sessions. With four or more a week, one is kept free for catch-up.
- Each week, a subject's share follows the exam time it still has to sit, times 1.5 if your mocks showed it was weak, times 2 when its next paper is within 14 days and times 3 within 7.
- Sessions move from learning and retrieval, to exam questions and timed sections, to full timed papers followed by mark-and-fix sessions as each subject's first paper nears. These rules are our planning choices.
- Tick a session as missed and it moves to the next free catch-up slot before that subject's last paper. If none is left, the page lists it.
