Is there an average cognitive ability test score?
The publisher says there is no universal good or average score for its current test. It does not give candidates a single numerical cognitive score; results are read against the demands of the job.

How the publisher scores the test
The score is not a simple count of right answers. The publisher's scoring looks at your overall response pattern and weights each question by its difficulty and by the effect of guessing.
The result is combined with the motivation and personality sections and compared with a profile of the job, so the same answers can fit one role better than another.
What you can measure yourself
In practice, two numbers tell you most: how many questions you reach in 12 minutes, and how many of those you get right. Every timed run here gives you both, with your seconds a question.
Raising either one helps. Most people gain more by reaching more questions without losing accuracy than by slowing down to be sure.
