Questions GMAT candidates ask

Is this the current GMAT?

Yes. Everything follows the current GMAT Exam (formerly the Focus Edition): Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Data Insights, 64 questions in 2 hours 15 minutes, scored 205 to 805. No Sentence Correction, no geometry, no essay.

Are these official GMAT questions?

No. Every question is written by us in the exam's formats and difficulty, and each answer is checked by an independent solver before it ships. Use GMAC's official practice exams as well; ours give you more full-length practice in the same format.

How is the practice exam scored?

Each section adapts question by question, as the real exam does. Your answers give an ability estimate per section, placed on the 60 to 90 section scale with GMAC's published percentiles, and the three sections make a 205 to 805 total with a likely range.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. The course tour, the first lesson in each section, three practice topics and the whole of practice exam 1 are free.

What score do I need?

It depends on the school. The free school target tool shows what leading programmes report for their latest class, and the percentile tool shows where a score sits among test takers.
