| Paper 1A | Multiple choice, about 2 minutes a question in our timed sets |
|---|---|

| Paper 2 | Short-answer and extended-response questions |
| Levels | Every question is tagged SL or HL |
How to use topic practice
- Untimed first: work each question in full, then compare every line with the worked solution.
- Then timed: sets of 5 or 10 multiple-choice questions at about two minutes each.
- Structured questions: type each value in the unit shown; the answer is checked within a sensible tolerance and your significant figures are noted.
- Finish with a full Paper 1 practice paper at your level, in the 1.5 or 2 hours of the real paper.
Past papers and our questions
Past papers are the IB's own; ask your school for them. Ours are original questions written for the current course, by topic, so you can drill a weak theme and save past papers for full timed practice.
