JEE Main 2027 exam dates

JEE (Main) 2027 has two sessions. Session 1 runs on 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January 2027; Session 2 runs from 2 to 7 April 2027.

Shift times

Paper 1 runs in two shifts a day: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (IST).

One session or two

You need not sit both sessions. If you sit both, the better of your two scores is used for the merit list.

Using the weeks before Session 1

Put the free check first: it shows which of the ten sections costs you most marks. Then take one section at a time with its lessons and practice, and sit a timed paper every week or two to practise the +4 and -1 marking under time.
