How difficult is TARA? Start with the format.
No official difficulty rating exists. TARA has three compulsory 40-minute modules: 22 Critical Thinking questions, 22 Problem Solving questions, and a Writing Task.

The format requires switching between Critical Thinking, Problem Solving and writing. UAT-UK also says: no calculator or dictionary, and incorrect answers do not lose marks.
What to practise
Practise the two reasoning modules separately, then add timed mixed work. Review why each wrong option fails, not only whether the answer was correct. For the Writing Task, practise choosing a position and supporting it within the word limit.
What not to infer
There is no published TARA pass mark, required accuracy percentage or conversion from a practice result to an official score.

How hard is the TARA test?
UAT-UK does not publish an official difficulty rating. The test combines two timed reasoning modules with a compulsory Writing Task, so preparation needs to cover both the format and the time available.
How much time do I get for each TARA module?
Each of the three TARA modules lasts 40 minutes. Critical Thinking and Problem Solving have 22 questions each; the Writing Task has a 750-word limit and 3 prompt choices.
Is there a TARA pass mark?
UAT-UK does not set a single pass mark. Do not turn a practice percentage into an official score or admissions prediction.
