What counts as passing

College Board does not call any score a pass. Many US colleges grant credit or advanced placement for scores of 3 and above, and each college decides which scores it accepts. Check the colleges on your list.

How a score is made

The four parts are weighted 40% multiple choice, 20% short answer, 25% document-based question and 15% long essay. College Board converts the weighted total to the 1 to 5 scale. Our practice exams report questions right and points earned, never an AP score.

Either the opponents of slavery will arrest the further spread of it, and place it where the public mind shall rest in the belief that it is in the course of ultimate extinction; or its advocates will push it forward, till it shall become alike lawful in all the States.
