AB covers Units 1–8. BC also includes extra topics within those units, plus parametric, polar and vector functions in Unit 9 and sequences and series in Unit 10.

Shared practice is labelled AB and BC. Extra content is labelled BC only.

Four timed parts

• Section I Part A: 29 multiple-choice questions, 62 minutes, no calculator.
• Section I Part B: 13 multiple-choice questions, 38 minutes, graphing calculator required.
• Section II Part A: 2 free-response questions, 30 minutes, graphing calculator required.
• Section II Part B: 4 free-response questions, 60 minutes, no calculator.

Multiple choice and free response each contribute half the score.
