How much does the physician assistant exam cost?
You pay $550 to NCCPA when you apply for the PANCE. Each retake is a new application and a new fee.
| Application fee | $550 |
|---|---|
| Reschedule or cancel | Through Pearson VUE, at least 1 business day ahead |
| Missed or late | The whole fee is forfeited |
| NCCPA practice exam | $50 each |
What the fee covers
One application gives you a 180-day exam timeframe to test at a Pearson VUE center. Your application is approved only once payment is complete.
When you lose the fee
Once you begin the exam, no part of the fee is refunded or credited.
- You do not test within your exam timeframe.
- You reschedule or cancel with Pearson VUE less than one business day before your appointment.
- You arrive late, or without the two forms of ID NCCPA requires.
- You decide not to test but do not withdraw in writing to NCCPA in time; cancelling the appointment with Pearson VUE is not a withdrawal.
Other costs
NCCPA sells its own practice exams for $50 each.
