How we work this out
What it does
40 questions in 30 minutes, like the real test, or a 10-question quick test.
Original questions from all five parts: inference, assumptions, deduction, interpretation and evaluation of arguments. The full test has the real test's mix: 5, 12, 5, 6 and 12.
Method
- Each attempt draws a new test from our reviewed bank of 200 questions.
- Each question is keyed under the published rule for its part, and every key was solved again, blind, by an independent solver.
- The clock gives 30 minutes for 40 questions, as in the real test.
- The target is 30 of 40 (75%). Firms do not publish a pass mark; they compare you with other candidates, and competitive law firms set high cut-offs. 75% is our estimate of a safe score for them.
