How to read your AP score report
Every AP Exam is scored from 1 to 5. Each score is College Board’s recommendation of how ready you are for credit in the matching college course; each college sets its own rules.

- Calculus BC. The report adds a Calculus AB subscore from 1 to 5, for the AB part of the exam. Many colleges treat it like an AP Calculus AB score.
- Every year in one place. Your scores sit in your College Board account. Use the same account you used for My AP: a second account can delay your scores.
- Sending scores. Choose one college, university or scholarship program by June 20, 11:59 p.m. ET, and that report is free. You can send more reports from your account at any time.

June 20, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Each year you take AP Exams, you can send one score report free to a college, university or scholarship program if you choose it by then.
What does each AP score mean?
5: extremely well qualified, about an A+ or A in the college course. 4: very well qualified, about an A-, B+ or B. 3: qualified, about a B-, C+ or C. 2: possibly qualified. 1: no recommendation.
