8 S1 papers and keys, 2016–2023. Engineering Admissions Assessment is listed for ESAT.

Struck out means a cross through the question number, under the heading of the advanced part: outside the ESAT specification. Judge the rest against the module guide.
- 2016–2023
- A: Mathematics and Physics · B: Advanced Mathematics and Advanced Physics
No ENGAA paper carries chemistry or biology. NSAA papers are the only archive.
There are also historic Engineering Admissions Assessment (ENGAA) and Natural Sciences Admissions Assessment (NSAA) papers that contain questions of the type found in the ESAT. We have indicated in the papers where questions are not in the ESAT specification.
Which parts are worth your time
Start with Part A. It is the only ENGAA part with nothing struck out, and it feeds both Mathematics 1 and Physics.
ENGAA S1 Part A
Nothing is marked: check questions against the Mathematics 1 guide.
Try Mathematics 1 questionsENGAA S1 Part B
The one part UAT-UK marks. Content splits between Mathematics 2 and Physics, so there is no clean match.
Try Mathematics 2 questionsENGAA S1 Part A
Part A puts mathematics and physics under one heading, so sort by question, not by part.
Try Physics questionsWhat Cambridge Engineering asks for now
Engineering (H100) sits the ESAT instead, and its row on the course list asks for Mathematics 1, Mathematics 2 and Physics.
Part A covers two of the three. Nothing in ENGAA covers Mathematics 2 cleanly.
Course modules: Every course and its modules. From the UAT-UK Course List for 2027 Entry (opens in a new tab).
Keep in-spec questions. An old ENGAA score does not convert to an ESAT score.
