Line through (2,5), (6,13): equation?

m = Δy ÷ Δx = 2. 5 = 2(2) + c, so c = 1. y = 2x + 1. 5 is not the intercept.

M2/Physics mix; classify first.

3, 7, 13, 21; second difference 2: sixth term?

Differences: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12. 31 + 12 = 43. 43. Adding 8 again gives 39.

12 V across 6 Ω: current?

I = V ÷ R. 12 ÷ 6 = 2 A. 2 A. Multiplying gives wrong units.

Worked example Chemistry

NSAA C: chemistry; not ENGAA.

Moles in 25 cm³ of 0.20 mol dm⁻³?

25 cm³ = 0.025 dm³. 0.20 × 0.025 = 0.005 mol. 0.005 mol. Use dm³, not cm³.

Worked example Biology

NSAA D: biology; not ENGAA.

Image 24 mm, specimen 0.08 mm: magnification?

Magnification = image ÷ actual. 24 ÷ 0.08 = 300. ×300. Use matching units.
