Struck out means a cross through the question number, under the heading of the advanced part: outside the ESAT specification. Judge the rest against the module guide.

2016–2019
A: Mathematics · B: Physics · C: Chemistry · D: Biology · E: Advanced Mathematics and Advanced Physics
2020–2023
A: Mathematics · B: Physics · C: Chemistry · D: Biology
There are also historic Engineering Admissions Assessment (ENGAA) and Natural Sciences Admissions Assessment (NSAA) papers that contain questions of the type found in the ESAT. We have indicated in the papers where questions are not in the ESAT specification.

Which parts are worth your time

Start with Parts A to D. Each one is a single subject feeding a single ESAT module, and none carries a struck-out question.

What Cambridge Natural Sciences asks for now

Natural Sciences (BCF0) sits the ESAT instead, and its row on the course list asks for Mathematics 1 and any two from Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics 2.

Parts A to D are one subject each, so three of those four have a part here. Mathematics 2 does not: Part E ended in 2019, and only the ENGAA papers carry it after that. See them.

Keep in-spec questions. An old NSAA score does not convert to an ESAT score.
