How we work this out
Method
- Each score becomes an NCLC level from IRCC's TCF Canada table.
- French as a second official language earns 1 point per skill at NCLC 5 or 6, 3 at NCLC 7 or 8 and 6 at NCLC 9 or more, up to 24.
- NCLC 7 in all four skills adds 50 points when English is CLB 5 or more in all four; 25 otherwise.
