Functional Skills Maths Level 2 past papers

Section A: 25 minutes without a calculator. Section B: 90 minutes with one. 64 marks.
City & Guilds
25 minutes without a calculator, then 80 minutes with one. 60 marks.
NCFE
Section A: 30 minutes without a calculator. Section B: 90 minutes with one. 60 marks.
Open Awards
Task 1: 30 minutes without a calculator. Tasks 2 to 4: 90 minutes with one. 60 marks.

A non-calculator part and a calculator part, taken together.
How to use sample papers well
- Sit one under exam conditions: the non-calculator part first, on its own clock.
- Mark it, then sort every lost mark: a slip, a method you did not know, or no working shown.
- Fix the method gaps with lessons, then sit a fresh paper. A paper you have seen twice tells you little.
