The NAPLEX has 225 questions in 6 hours: 200 scored and 25 pretest, on one fixed form answered in order with no going back. Two optional 10-minute breaks make a 6 hour 45 minute appointment, and an on-screen calculator is provided.
How we score it
The NAPLEX reports Pass or Fail only, with no scaled score, and NABP does not publish a passing mark, so we never estimate a pass. You get your share right in each area, and one overall figure that counts each area by its weight on the exam outline.
