How long do you have to wait to retake the SIE?
30 calendar days after a failed attempt. After three failed attempts in a row within two years, the wait is 180 calendar days.
Is the SIE waiting period 15 days now?
Not yet. FINRA changed its rule to 15 days after a failed attempt and 60 days after three fails in a row within two years, and it will announce the date the shorter waits start. Until then, 30 and 180 days apply.
How much does it cost to retake the SIE?
$100. Each attempt is enrolled and paid for separately.
How long is a passed SIE valid?
