What score do you need on the TSIA2?
TSIA2 has no single passing score. Each subject has a college-ready benchmark: 950 on the Mathematics CRC test, and 945 on the ELAR CRC test with an essay score of 5 or higher. CRC scores run from 910 to 990.

What college ready means
If you meet the benchmark in a subject, you may enroll in any related entry-level college course without developmental courses. If you do not, your college may place you in a developmental course, an intervention, or a corequisite course that you take alongside the college-level course.
Your college may also look at your high school GPA, other test scores, your transcripts and your chosen major when it places you.
The Diagnostic Tests
A CRC score below the benchmark sends you to a Diagnostic Test of 48 questions in that subject. It reports a level from 2 to 6 and Basic, Proficient or Advanced in each content area. In ELAR, a level of 4 or higher also takes you to the essay, but only a level of 5 or 6 can count toward college ready.
