How we work this out
What it does
Enter your GRE Verbal and Quant scores to see the GMAT total they predict, on today's 205 to 805 scale.
Any GRE Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning scores from 130 to 170, converted to a GMAT Exam total from 205 to 805.
Method
- ETS's formula predicts an old-scale GMAT total: -2080.75 + 6.38 x GRE Verbal + 10.62 x GRE Quant, rounded to 10 and kept inside 200 to 800. ETS built it from 472 people who took both tests.
- GMAC's August 2026 concordance then turns that old score into today's 205 to 805 total, matching the two by percentile.
- The likely range is ETS's standard error (54.8 points) either side of the prediction, converted the same way. About two in three people fall inside it.
