Method
- Your percentile is College Board's SAT User rank for your exact total: the share of recent SAT takers who scored the same or lower.
- Excellent is the top 5% (1440 or more). Very good is the top 10% (1360 to 1430). Good is the top 25% (1200 to 1350).
- Above average is above the 2025 graduating class average of 1029 (1030 to 1190). Average runs from the 40th percentile up to that average (960 to 1020). Below average is under the 40th percentile.
- The average is College Board's 2025 annual report: the most recent score of each 2025 graduate who took the SAT.
