How to book
Choose your test
CELPIP-General tests all four skills and is the one for immigration and visa applications. CELPIP-General LS tests listening and speaking and is accepted for Canadian citizenship. For a PGWP, choose “Canadian permanent residency (PR)” or “temporary residency (TR) (IRCC)” as your purpose.
Find a date
Pick a centre and session in CELPIP's test date finder.
Register in your CELPIP Account
Enter your name and ID number exactly as on the document you will bring. It must be the same document on test day.
Pay and get ready
Pay online to confirm the session. Your scores appear in the same account after the test.
Changing or cancelling
- 7 days or more before
- Transfer to another session of the same test for $50 plus tax, or cancel and get 50% of the fee back.
- Less than 7 days before
- Cancelling gives no refund. A transfer goes through CELPIP customer service, which may ask for proof such as a doctor's note.
