How we work this out
What it does
Numerical, verbal and logical questions on the clock, with your weakest skill and every answer explained.
Original questions in the three kinds SHL-style ability tests use: numerical (tables and charts), verbal (true, false or cannot say) and logical (sequences, shapes and rules). We are independent and not affiliated with SHL.
Method
- Each attempt draws a new test from our reviewed bank: a third numerical, a third verbal and a third logical.
- Every key was solved again, blind, by an independent solver.
- The full test is 30 questions in 36 minutes, the pace of a general ability test: about 70 seconds a question.
- Employers do not publish a pass mark. They compare your score with other candidates and set their own cut-off. We use 70% as the target: at that accuracy you have the method for most question types, and the questions you miss point to one skill to fix.
